Exploration and Production Support:
Intertek Westport Technology Center provides a complete range of drilling fluid analyses to support client E&P operations. Westport staff bring considerable expertise to every drilling fluid project and can modify or tailor existing tests to address specific drilling problems. Intertek also provides Drilling Fluids school training programs.

Rig Site Assistance, Consulting, Drilling Fluid School and Independent Audits:
Intertek staff have years of field and laboratory experience. Staff members are available to provide rig site assistance for problem wells. Westport experts develop and deliver training in drilling fluid technology, ranging from basic overviews to advanced programs. The independent nature of the Westport Laboratory means we are able to provide clients with accurate, objective and unbiased evaluations and reviews of drilling fluid laboratories, drilling fluid projects and drilling programs.

The Westport drilling fluids group regularly undertakes applied research, technical training programs and consulting assignments. We maintain a leadership role in technology by our active participation in Joint Industry Research Programs, Industry consortia and government-sponsored research.
