Intertek Health & Environmental Services signs Agreement with Compliance & Risks to expand global regulatory knowledge solutions

Agreement provides service solutions to support regulatory compliance programs

Intertek Health and Environmental Services, a unit of Intertek Group plc (LSE: ITRK), a global leader in testing, inspection and certification, has signed an agreement with Compliance & Risks (C&R) to support the growing demand for knowledge management systems for global regulatory compliance programs. The agreement complements Intertek’s consulting services with C2P (Compliance-to-Product), Compliance and Risk’s Compliance Knowledge Management (CKM) system and global environmental regulations database.

The services help Intertek clients streamline emerging health and environmental regulations, and compliance with complex new regulations such as REACH. Many companies manufacture or source products from multiple locations. Keeping up-to-date with regulations, and monitoring and ensuring compliance across locations suppliers is a constant challenge. The C2P platform gives clients constant ‘real-time’ access to the latest regulatory requirements and helps manages compliance-related data across the organisation. Intertek works with global and local companies across many industries to develop, buy and sell products that will meet health and environmental legislation. Services include consultancy, testing, certification, auditing, product conversion, training and outsourcing services.
