Intertek has extensive expertise and experience in the field of industrial and cooling water systems, conditioning, treatment, problem solving and analyses. When problems like corrosion, algea growth and salt formation appear Intertek can support you in getting your systems back on track again. Advisement services
An adequate pre-treatment of piping and equipment in cooling water systems and adequate conditioning of the cooling water are indispensable for the continuous optimal functioning of cooling water systems. Intertek has years of experience and extensive expertise in the field of cooling water and cooling water conditioning and can advice about the cooling water conditions and the integral monitoring of the cooling water quality by means of analyses. Furthermore, our experts can advise about upsets in cooling systems, for example the recovery after a pH-dip.
Cooling water system laboratory scale
Intertek has very sophisticated methods and equipment at it’s disposal. A cooling water system at laboratory scale can be used to research new cooling water conditioning techniques, corrosion and (microbiological) contamination. Tests can be done with varying operating conditions. The laboratory scale cooling water system is operated according to NEN-ISO 16784-2. Furthermore, the lab is equipment to perform measurements of biological impact en contamination of cooling water systems. In addition to this methods and equipment for online control of corrosion- and contamination processes can be tested in the laboratory or evaluated by pilot tests.
