| Amino Acids are important biological molecules which are the building blocks of proteins, there are 20 naturally occurring acids. NWTC is capable of analysing samples in order to identify the amino acids present. We can carry out amino acid analysis on virtually all protein types. | |

Analysis would typically be carried out using liquid chromatography with pre-column derivatisation followed by fluorescence and/or UV-VIS detection. All 20 amino acids can be quantified before and after acid hydrolysis and the technique is sensitive to <1nmol/ml in solution. Protein samples as low as 1mg can be hydrolysed and characterised. We can also carry out quantification of primary and secondary Amino Acids in Hair, Products and extracts. Please contact us to confidentially discuss your requirements. |
