Isothermal Catalyst Screening Units:
- Eight Isothermal catalyst screening units with four reactors in a common heater block. Maximum catalyst bed capacity is 120 cc with a maximum feed rate of about 300 cc/hr. and maximum temperature of 800°F.
Isothermal Precision Study Units:
- Nine Isothermal precision studies units with a maximum single reactor catalyst bed capacity of 434 cc, maximum feed rate of about 800 cc/hr, and a maximum temperature of 1000°F. Multiple reactor and multiple atmospheric tower configurations are possible on selected units.
Adiabatic Units:
- Two Adiabatic, commercial-type units including four bed first reactor with interbed H2 quench and a single bed second reactor over five liters of catalyst capacity can be achieved in each unit. Two Atmospheric towers, one pressure tower and two vacuum towers are included for product recovery.
Lube and wax applications include:

Around-the-clock unit operation and analytical control permit timely, cost-effective and accurate technology evaluations. The pilot plants employ up-to-date automation including on-stream analyzers, computer data logging and material balance documentation. Up-to-date continuous pilot plant facilities are available to handle petroleum refining process and catalyst evaluations from reforming and isomerization through resid hydrotreating and delayed coking.
