Turkey Laboratories

Intertek Testing Labs in Turkey

As part of the global Intertek laboratory network, Intertek Turkey operates three ISO 17025 accredited laboratories supporting the petroleum and agricultural industries in Istanbul, Iskenderun and Atas Mersin. Laboratory capabilities include:

Istanbul Laboratory:

• Intertek operates a well equipped petroleum and agricultural products testing laboratory in Istanbul. Istanbul laboratory is located in Tuzla, 10 kms away from the petroleum and petrochemical terminals in Gebze and 30 kms away from Tüpras Izmit Refinery. The lab is under operation since June 2005.

Iskenderun Laboratory:

• Intertek operates a well equipped petroleum and agri products testing laboratory in Iskenderun. Iskenderun laboratory is located 5 kms outside Iskenderun with a distance of only 40 kms to Delta Oil Terminal and 60 kms to Botas Terminal, Ceyhan which is supplied by Kirkuk, Iraq and BTC pipelines. The Iskenderun petroleum lab has been providing testing and inspection services to the petroleum industry since 1990 and has been accredited by Turkish Standards Institute. Iskenderun is the biggest independent hydrocarbon and agricultural product testing Laboratory in Turkey.

Atas Mersin Laboratory:

• Intertek operates a well equipped petroleum testing laboratory in Mersin. ATAS Mersin laboratory is located within the ATAS terminal which is jointly owned by BP and Shell and has been outsourced by ICB in 2006. The lab is under operation since June 2006.
  

Daily sample dispatch services are available from Intertek offices in Istanbul, Izmir, Aliaga, Iskenderun, Atas Mersin and Samsun.
