Biodiesel Laboratory Testing and Inspection Locations

Intertek provides biodiesel testing in Australia. Other biofuels are also tested for quality. The biofuel labs service a wide range of clients in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
Fuel standards for biodiesel:

Biodiesel that contains a substance mentioned in the following table must not contain more than the amount mentioned for the substance from the date mentioned for the substance:
Biodiesel Tests for: Amount
Sulfur 50 mg/kg
Sulfur 10 mg/kg
Sulfated ash 0.020% mass
Carbon residue, 10% distillation residue> 0.30% mass
Carbon residue, 100% distillation sample 0.050% mass
Water and sediment 0.050% vol
Phosphorus 10 mg/kg
Free glycerol 0.020% mass
Total glycerol 0.250% mass
Metals, Group I (Na, K) 5 mg/kg
Metals, Group II (Ca, Mg) 5 mg/kg
Alcohol 0.20% (m/m)

A property of biodiesel mentioned in the following table must meet the specification mentioned for the property from the date mentioned for the property.
