Chemical and Pharmaceutical Raw Materials Testing

Intertek ASG laboratory has analysis and characterisation capabilities suitable for specialist testing of the raw materials used in chemicals manufacture, particularly pharmaceutical and healthcare products. The laboratory is able to offer identifications and assays against specification for a wide range of chemicals and intermediates using methods supplied by the client or vendor, or developed in-house to GLP standards.

Typical tests include the following:

• Identification by Infrared, IR, NMR or Mass Spectrometry
• Purity by HPLC and GC
• Impurities and product related substances by HPLC and GC
• Trace metals analysis
• Elemental analysis
• Assay by titration

  
Analysis reports and certificates of analysis can be provided as required.

The laboratory has been inspected by the United Kingdom Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for GLP and GMP compliance and by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for GMP compliance.
