History

The Intertek ASG laboratory in Manchester, UK, is part of the global Intertek Group. The laboratory has a long history of providing advanced and standard analytical services as a former corporate facility within ICI, Zeneca and most recently Avecia. The laboratory was spun out from Avecia to become part of the Intertek Group in 2004. Intertek ASG provides a comprehensive and extensive range of analytical capabilities underpinned by a proven track record.

Quality

The laboratory has operated a quality compliance programme for more than 20 years and has a GLP statement of compliance issued, in accordance with Directive 88/320 EEC, by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). The laboratory is also capable of carrying out GMP analysis services. Intertek ASG has a dedicated quality assurance unit. To date, the laboratory has carried out more than 600 GLP studies.
