Announces ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation

Intertek Caleb Brett, Marsden Point New Zealand are pleased to announce that on 15th January 2003 it's laboratory was recommended for Accreditation by International Accreditation New Zealand. Accreditation ensures that the Marsden point Laboratory complies with the latest international standard, ISO/IEC 17025 that sets out the basic requirements for a laboratory's quality management system and for its management of technical competence.

During the past twelve months, substantial investments in both time and new equipment have

been made in order to meet the very high standards required. Both proved worthwhile and the auditor was impressed and expressed surprise at the speed at which the Laboratory had achieved this.

No corrective actions were required by the auditor and Accreditation will cover one ISO and twelve ASTM methods.
