This acquisition will strengthen the existing collaboration between Intertek and Lloyd's Register in the field of fuel testing under the banner of the Lloyd's Register FOBAS (Fuel Oil Bunker Analysis and Advisory Service) this acquisition will enable Caleb Brett to further strengthen its position in the marine fuel oil market and offer enhanced service to Lloyd's Register and its other clients. "This acquisition by Intertek Caleb Brett comes at a perfect time. Not only do we now have our own global network of FOBAS marine fuel consultants in place, we also have the benefit of a strengthened presence on the fuel testing side.
