Codex Alimentarius Standards:

USA EPA Standards:

The Codex Alimentarius Commission, prescribes limits for various residues and contaminants in food for human consumption. Codex standards are established establishing Maximum Residue Limits (MRL) for 17 agrochemicals in coffee beans. Tolerance limits are prescribed by CODEX for various agro-chemical residues in coffee.
