BIO-KILL is highly effective at preventing the growth of micro-organisms in liquid hydrocarbon fuels, such as aviation and diesel fuel, home heating oil and kerosene as well as petroleum feedstocks. BIO-KILL biocide eradicates microbial growth in contaminated fuel systems and provides long-term protection of these systems. Protection of Both Fuel and Water Phases.
BIO-KILL will partition into both fuel and water phases. The two active components in BIO-KILL concentrate at different levels in the fuel phase and in the water phase. The concentration in each phase at recommended use levels effectively prevents the growth of micro-organisms in the whole system, especially at the interface where microbial growth is most likely to occur.
