Chiral Analysis

Intertek ASG has significant analytical capabilities in chiral analysis allowing detailed characterization of products and process underpinning process optimization, scale up and regulatory submissions. Techniques Available Include:

Chiral Analysis by Liquid Chromatography (LC)

The laboratory uses a range of chiral columns (LC, GC) which can be molecule specific. Method development for particular chiral molecule measurements is available.

Chiral Analysis by Capillary Electrophoresis (CE)

Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) uses Cyclodextrins (CDs) and substituted CDs as the most common chiral selectors. The method is usually rapid.

Chiral Analysis by NMR

NMR uses chirally pure complexing reagents or chirally pure Lanthanide shift reagents.

Services available include assessment of chiral purity and determination of enantiomeric excess.
