Morphology Analysis of Materials

Intertek ASG offers advanced morphology services covering multiple techniques used for the characterization of a wide range of different materials. Comprehensive instrumentation combined with the experience of the scientists in the morphology team enable Intertek ASG to make a significant contribution to support research and development, failure analysis, quality control, troubleshooting and other complex scientific investigations.

Techniques available within Intertek ASG include microscopy (SEM, EDX, TEM and LM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermal analysis (DSC and TGA), dynamic light scattering (DLS), porosimetry and interferometry. Services offered include elemental analysis of solid samples, impurities, and the identification of physical and chemical defects

All instrumentation is qualified to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards allowing Intertek ASG data to be used in regulatory projects and pharmaceutical QC (Quality Control).
